Create separate milestones

Track build readiness, participant onboarding, eligibility, application submission, and publication independently. Delays at one stage do not necessarily mean another stage failed. Give each milestone an owner and a visible condition for completion.

Keep useful work moving

While an application is under review, prepare support instructions, release notes, and a response plan for early issues. Keep your testing records accessible. Avoid making unnecessary changes that leave the reviewed version inconsistent with the evidence you supplied.

Communicate a window, not a countdown

Tell stakeholders which stage is complete and what remains outside your control. Review duration varies; use current information in Play Console instead of treating another developer's experience as a deadline. Announce public availability after you have verified the actual listing.
