Request a concrete delivery description
Ask how people join, how availability is confirmed, and who handles access failures. Request an anonymised example of a useful report, not participant passwords or private identities. A provider should explain its work without needing access to your main developer credentials.
Inspect the kind of evidence offered
A number on a spreadsheet does not establish that anybody understood your app. Look for task-specific observations, device context, and a way to clarify a report. Treat guaranteed approval or identical praise from every participant as reasons to ask more questions.
Agree on failure handling
Before payment, clarify what happens if a participant leaves or the build is inaccessible. Write down support responsibilities and the conditions for any refund or replacement. Keep these service commitments separate from decisions Google makes about production access.
